Dance is coming to Supreme!

New for the summer of 2021 we are excited to offer recreational dance classes in person, outdoors in beautiful Burlington, ON. Programs focus on movement, musicality, foundational skills, and FUN! All classes perform a VIRTUAL showcase at the end of the session that parents, siblings, grandparents, and friends are welcome to attend.

SUMMER 2021 (8 Week Session)

Tuesdays from July 6th, 2021 through August 24th, 2021


(3-5 YEARS)

5:00-5:50 pm

This curriculum is designed to introduce preschool-aged children to foundational movement and musicality. It combines elements of tap, jazz, and ballet to give athletes a taste of different types of dance.


(6-12 YEARS)

6:00-6:50 pm

Hip-hop dance is a fusion dance genre that incorporates elements of popping, locking, breaking, jazz, ballet, tap dancing, and other styles and is typically performed in hip-hop, R&B, funk, electronic or pop music. This 8-week program introduces children to all these elements and more in a fun and high-energy environment.


(6-12 YEARS)

7:00-7:50 pm

This class curriculum perfectly combines elements of cheer and dance while incorporating the use of proper Pom motion technique that is sharp, clean, and precise while allowing for the use of concepts from Jazz, Hip Hop, and High Kick. This is an introductory class with emphasis placed on FUN, group execution including synchronization, uniformity, and spacing. The choreography of a dynamic and effective routine focuses on musicality, staging of visual effects through fluid and creative transitions, levels, and groups, along with the complexity of movement and skills.

Is any experience required to join a Supreme Dance class?
Beginners are welcomed! No experience is required – our classes are introductory and focus on learning the basics in a FUN environment.

What should my athlete wear?
Participants should wear athletic clothing (shorts or tights with a t-shirt or tank top or sports bra), socks, indoor running shoes, hair pulled back off of the face (preferably in a ponytail or bun).

Should my athlete bring anything?
Participants should bring a water bottle labeled with their names.

What if we are locked down due to government regulations at the start of the session?
If in-person programming is prohibited due to government regulations surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the start date of the session will be pushed until in-person programming can commence. The length of the session will be shortened and the curriculum condensed to ensure completion by August 24, 2021. Monthly tuition fees will be pro-rated accordingly.

What if we are locked down mid-session?
If in-person programming is prohibited due to government regulations surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic mid-session, programming will immediately be transitioned to a virtual format (or outdoor format if regulations and space permits).

What is your refund policy?
All fees paid are non-refundable. Participants can withdraw at any time by emailing and giving 10 days’ notice. Written notice must be received a minimum of 10 days prior to any scheduled payment in order to cancel the payment.
